A photographic project of one of Munich’s oldest and most discreet traditional beer gardens, continuously operated by Augustiner-Bräu since 1896. Hidden along the Isar riverbank under centuries-old chestnut trees, the site retains its original, unadorned character. Long rows of heavy wooden tables and benches, beer served solely from wooden barrels, and an atmosphere of deliberate calm. The series focuses on structure, light, and material: the play of sunlight through leaves, the texture of aged wood, the quiet geometry of the empty garden. Photographed in natural light on a summer day with Nikon Z5.
